Rats!

I need to take time off from posting.
I'm not sure how long. I thought I could keep up, but I can't.
Moving is maddening. I'm not sleeping well.
Look at those dark circles under my eyes!

Gotta unpack all these boxes and there's still more to come.

Babysitting Punkin nine hours a day leaves little time for
getting the new apartment whipped into shape.

Punkin (aka Mr. Short Naps) is getting ready to crawl.
He makes me laugh all day long.
I love to cuddle and rock him.
He's the best medicine in the world!
I make up silly songs to amuse him, make goofy faces and weird noises.
He giggles no matter how dumb I act!

I'm tired at the end of the day,
but it's a good tired, a rewarding tired,
and my heart is full of joy.

Although I won't be posting, I'm going to do my darndest
to catch up with your blogs and connect on Facebook or Twitter.

Have a wonderful week, my friends. I'll be back!

Everyone needs to take time off for life on occasion. That's an adorable kid; spending time with real people is important, too.

I've got a blog post I wrote after I downsized from a 5 bedroom house to a townhouse a few years ago. I called it 'Moving Bootcamp'. I think I packed for 9 months. At least it felt like that.
Let us know when you're back, LynnNerd. . .

Here's the link if you're interested:

Everyone needs a bloggy break sooner or later.

Take a break-we'll be here when you get back.
I thought I could keep it up, too. Especially after I visited my druggist.
Now, I just fall asleep.

I totally sympathise. I moved last month and everything else in my life went on hold. And I didn't even have to do it with a child, just a very grumpy cat!

A lot of us seem to be a little overwhelmed by it all t the moment. Me included.

You have a LOT of boxes, Lynn.

What if you posted a bi-monthly boxes-left-to-unpack tally? 187 boxes to unpack...154...130...105...etc. We'd see your progress and might be motivated to tackle our own to-do lists.

Meanwhile, enjoy every minute with Punkin. He's lucky to have you.

Moving is never fun, but you can do it! Nothing happens because without a reason. You need that break and you're doing what you're supposed to be doing! Good luck!

Oh, dear Lynn! No matter how long you will be absent from the blogosphere, I won't forget about you :-) Take your time, seattle down in your new diggs and continue enjoying time with Punkin. Kids grow so fast! You're lucky to have such a wonderful bundle of joy around :-)
Love you.

Sometimes we just need a little break. Get some rest, get unpacked, get some rest again. We'll be here.

Taking a break from blogging is exactly what the doctor ordered, Lyn. Get organized with the new digs and definitely hug that short napper!

Ugh! I hate moving. I once had three moves in three years, but thankfully, that was before kids. Then there was the two moves in two years when my professor husband took a sabbatical. Needless to say, his next sabbatical will be at a local university. Good luck.

Awwww. Baby cuddles make almost anything bearable - even moving. Good luck with all of those boxes. And don't try to rush it, they'll wait for you.

There are more important things in life than blogging. Like taking care of Punkin, sleeping, and making a new nest comfortable...

No doubt, we'll be here when you get back.

Everyone needs to take a break from blogging now and then! Don't feel bad about it. Like everyone has already said there are more important things. Take time out for yourself :)

Moving is such a stressful time and I've only done it once in my life. Have a great blogging break and see you when you get back!

Life is always more important, and if you lose your health, blogging won't mean anything. Take care of yourself and let the WANAs know when you're back :)

As Marcy said above, life is always more important! But thank you for making me smile with pictures and that sweet nickname, Mr. Short Naps!
